Galway’s junior citizens will have their own day of mischief and merriment at the Galway Comedy Festival this weekend, with a mad magic show.
Irish magician Jack Wise presents Family Magic & Madness, a show for children, in An Taibhdhearc, Middle Street, on Saturday, October 28, at 12.30pm.
Jack Wise is a modern-day vaudevillian who will astound young Galwegians with eye-popping magic tricks, ventriloquism, and even sword swallowing - he is one of only sixty sword swallowers in the world today. Expect raucous audience interaction with a comedic tussle between David Blaine and Tommy Cooper.
Winner of The Street Performance World Championship, Jack’s comedic skills are as praised as his skills in magic. He has amazed and amused audiences all over Germany, Switzerland, Canada and at the world’s biggest festivals. Galway’s children are in for a real treat.
