Spooky movies for kids and creeps at the EYE Cinema this week

Ghouls, ghosts and goblins young or old are in for a treat when visiting the EYE in Wellpark from Friday, October 27, to Tuesday, October 31. The cinema is offering free face-painting and 10% off popcorn for Hallowe’en.

With parental guidance enjoy ‘How to Save the Immortal’, or the perfectly on-topic ‘The Canterville Ghost’. For general release see the colourful ‘Trolls Band Together’, the ever-popular ‘Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie’ and more.

For the more grown-up cinema-going souls, check out EYE’s Retro Creeps Movie Season featuring luxury screenings of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ (1975 ) and ‘The Shining’ (1980 ); both back on the big screen for a limited run only from October 27.

Also showing are ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’, Liam Neeson in ‘Retribution’ and Michael Fassbender in ‘The Killer’. Both are out this weekend.

For the October bank holiday weekend, EYE is offering 10% off popcorn and cinema snacks to trick-or-treaters dressed in their Halloween costumes. Free face-painting will also be available on Tuesday, October 31 from 11am to 1.30pm.
