When you enter this draw, you are supporting Maree Oranmore Football Club, a not-for-profit soccer club. Since its foundation in 1989, MOFC has played a pivotal role in the promotion of not only the sport of soccer but also the physical and emotional health and well-being of its members. With over 900 active members ranging in age from 4 to 82 and 52 teams, your support of this Win a Home competition means MOFC can invest in the development of much-needed facilities for the people of Oranmore and Maree.
Competition proceeds will generate funds in support of a recently approved planning proposal for all-weather, floodlit 9-a-side and 5-a-side pitches. These new pitches will be situated adjacent to the existing ones at the Maree Community Sports Complex.
Adjacent to the proposed facility lies Maree National School, which will enjoy complimentary access to these facilities. These all-weather pitches will primarily serve during the winter months when natural grass surfaces are unsuitable for play and other sporting activities are limited.
The club holds a genuine commitment to making these pitches available to all members of the sports and local community.
In addition to raising much needed funds for Maree Oranmore FC, €5 from every ticket sold will be donated to the competition’s charity partner; A Lust For Life.
