After a sell-out show at last year's Galway Comedy Festival, the multi-award-winning Danny O'Brien is back with a nostalgia-packed, stand-up routine.
Tickets are now sold out for his Black Box show supporting John Bishop, but still available for his intimate Róisín Dubh gig on Friday, October 27, at 7pm. He will also appear at Karl Spain’s Late Night Karnival – same night, same location – later at 10.30pm.
The Wicklovian comic has revisited all the simple joys of an early 90s childhood to find the undisputed winner. He poses the question: ‘was a simpler time indeed a happier one?’
On tour all summer, O’Brien is fresh from a month-long tour of New Zealand, and a number of TV appearances in the southern hemisphere, as well as several international comedy festivals in Asia, Europe, and Britain. This included a critically applauded, month-long run of shows at his twelfth year appearing at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
(He also may - or may not - have accidentally killed two Tamagotchis along the way! )
Tickets for all shows from www.galwaycomedyfestival.ie priced €21 to €25.
