Given the pitiable state of the world today, there are more than a few eejits running amok; every one of them deserving to be ridiculed and satirised.

Step forward Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell, and Canadian comic Glenn Wool, to do the honours via their popular podcast, Eejits of the World. They will be broadcasting live from The Ruby Room in The King’s Head pub, as part of Galway Comedy Festival on Thursday, October 26.

This podcast sees Maxwell and Wool scour the news, the internet, and sometimes their own reflections in the mirror to bring listeners the latest from the world of eejits - be they Hollywood eejits, sporting eejits, science eejits, and - nearly always - political eejits.

Recent shows have gloriously satirised extreme Republicans in the USA, the Tories, the Irish far-right, plastic surgery, day-time TV, and eejits who actually marry ghosts!

Maxwell and Wool are not short of opinions and never shy about voicing them. Unlike many online, what this duo have to say makes sense, and is hysterically funny into the bargain.

Get up-close and personal at the recording of a new episode of Eejits of the World, and to see and hear, first-hand, two master comics in full-flow, dissecting various eejits and their antics for our comedic pleasure.

Eejits of the World with Andrew Maxwell and Glenn Wool will be podcasted live from The King’s Head, High Street, on Thursday October 26.
