Theft from MPV in city
On Wednesday October 11 at approximately 2.45am a White Vauxhall Vivaro van was broken into in Castlepark, Ballybane.
During this break in two Con Saws were stolen. Anyone who may have witnessed this, or who may have been offered these items for sale is asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000
Criminal damage
On Monday, October 16 a business premises in Woodquay was damaged when the mural on it was defaced with spray paint.

On Thursday, October 12, a number of youths threw a bottle at a parked car outside the Waterfront Apartments on Bridge Street in Galway City. This incident happened at approximately 11.30pm, and the vehicle in question was a 152LD black Mitsubishi Crew Cab. The males fled on foot when challenged by the owner.

Burglary in Turloughmore
Between 12pm on Friday October 13 and 2.30pm on Sunday October 15, a house was broken into on the Lackagh Road, Turloughmore Galway.
Entry was gained by forcing a window in the property.

On Friday October 13 between 6.30pm and 10pm, a house was broke into in The Stables in Oranmore.

Burglary in Athenry
On Friday October 13 between 6.30pm and 8.30pm a house in Ballydavid South in Athenry was broken into.
Anyone who may have witnessed any person or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area to contact Garda Nuala Sweeney at Oranmore Garda Station on 091-388030.
Assault in Ballybane
On Friday October 13 at approximately 4.30pm, a man was assaulted in Beal Srutha, Ballybane.
The man was assaulted by a group of approximately four men who were allegedly carrying weapons.
These four men fled the area on foot after the assault.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area, and who may have witnessed this or has any other information to contact Galway Garda Station on 091-538000 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
