Galway City Partnership had a fantastic attendance at its event in the Connacht Hotel, Galway, which served as an educational platform for employers to hear about its project and to listen to some first-hand experiences from its clients.
Speakers included the Mayor of Galway City Eddie Hoare, Galway City Partnership CEO Linda Sice Brogan, The Galway Chamber CEO Kenny Deery, Project Co-Ordinator Maggie Woods, Project Employer Liaison Officer Sharon Doyle, Department of Social Protection Officer Yvonne Kenny and three of our clients who have gone through the process - Lisa Madden, Paul Cannon and Conall Lynch. Attendees also heard from two representatives from employers who are members of the project, Geraldine Dowling HR in CityLink and Garry Kendall represented Galway Aquarium.
