DJ D’Arcy returns to his roots

Fresh from taking up a prestigious new slot on RTÉ's 2FM, DJ Fergal D’Arcy is back on home turf with an exciting set at Monroe’s Live for Friday, October 6, at 11pm.

The Galway-born D’Arcy is one of Ireland’s leading radio DJs with a name that is among the most recognisable in the industry.

Throughout his career, he has scooped numerous awards, including being voted Ireland’s Number 1 Radio DJ by Hot Press magazine for three years in a row.

Hailing from Ballinasloe, Co Galway, Fergal D’Arcy's career began on Clare FM, before he moved to iRadio, then Today FM, where he commanded an audience of over 120k listeners during his afternoon shows.

Now making a welcome return to the airwaves on 2FM, D’Arcy continues to share his passion for music and ability to interact with his listeners. He curates dynamic set lists that are guaranteed crowd pleasers, while combining his personal love for avant garde genres.

This year, he’s been “lashing out the tunes” at festivals across the country, whilst also broadcasting from Electric Picnic.
