As we enter the final quarter of the year, the Connacht Hospitality Group have announced that they have already helped to raise a whopping €78,000 for their incredible charities.
Croí are the Connacht Hospitality Group’s partner for the year, while the rest of the Group’s businesses each have their own chosen charities. HYDE Hotel is backing Cancer Care West, Residence Hotel and 1520 are getting behind Jigsaw, The Connacht Hotel are supporting Galway Hospice and Hometree, An Púcán are encouraging donations to Claddagh Watch Patrol, while Galway Bay Golf Resort have raised money for Croí through a Charity Golf Classic.
The Group are delighted to have helped generate so much money for an array of incredible causes, and they are now close to the 70 percent mark of their year target.
At the beginning of the year, the Group set themselves an ambitious target for 2023 and they are well on their way to achieving that number before the end of the year.
Across the Group, so many people have given up their free time to assist various efforts to raise money and awareness for each of these charities.
Whether it has been the Croagh Patrick climb, the Sunrise Swim at Salthill Beach, the Spin Bike Challenge on Quay Street, or any of the several other endeavours, their teams have always stepped up to the plate.
Of course, the generous public have donated in their droves to these many fundraisers; the Group's charity partners are so thankful that they have contributed so much.
The Group are delighted that the figure already stands at €78,000 but they are continuing to push for the ultimate goal.
The charities they are working with mean a lot to so many people – these vital services depend a great deal on people’s support, and the Group are only delighted to help.
To that end, they have a great deal more planned before the end of the year; lots more fundraisers, lots more activities, and plenty more fun ways to help charities receive the funds they need.
