3Dental Galway launches new facility — the third Irish practice for the company whose Dublin and Limerick clinics offer3Dental’s contemporary and affordable model of dentistry to people across Ireland.

3Dental owner’s Dr Niall Vallely, Dr Peter Doherty and Dr Paul O’Connell first opened the doors to the Dublin clinic in 2016 and have nurtured and grown the business over the last seven years – training and mentoring staff from right across Ireland and further afield throughout this time.

The 3Dental team is known for its friendly, warm welcome, modern clinic and affordable treatments and this is something that they wanted to recreate at the Galway practice. Bringing the project together included an initial investment of €1.5 million and the creation of 40 new jobs – and there are plans to double that investment over the next 18 months by adding more dental chairs, an ortho-suite and expanding the on-site lab.

Caitlin Buchanan, one of the management team at 3Dental Galway, said they are excited to officially launch the clinic because, although they opened in 2022, they wanted to wait until we were settled in to mark the occasion.

“It is a really close-knit and supportive team here in Galway – everyone from the dentists to the nurses and the front of house staff are fantastic to work with and want the very best for the patients, I love being a part of that. The Galway clinic is a purpose-built facility so it is brand new, and you can really feel that when you walk in – so many people tell us that it doesn’t feel like a dentist because it is so relaxed and welcoming.”

In recent years a large number of patients from Galway had been travelling up and down to the Limerick branch of the company, 3Dental at Old Quarter, which opened in 2018. When the team discovered that so many people were travelling from Galway to avail of the modern and affordable dental care championed by 3Dental, they decided to open up in the county. The company is dedicated to making dental care more accessible for people across Ireland by offering prices that are competitive with dental clinics overseas where many people travel for dental work, providing free assessments and easy payment plans.

Dr Vallely said: “When we first opened in Dublin in 2016 this is what we wanted to bring to Ireland – a new, modern, and affordable model of dental care – giving patients a great value service without travelling too far from home. We are absolutely thrilled to be launching our third clinic and bringing that level of professionalism and quality dental care to the people of Galway.”
