Fresh from releasing her latest video Stolen, Kildare-born online sensation Lea Heart graces Monroe’s Live on Saturday, September, 23.
‘Stolen’ recently premiered to a star studded gathering including actor Domhnall Gleeson, pop mogul Louis Walsh and singer Brian Kennedy. Heart was originally discovered through the Tik Tok social media platform.
With soaring vocals and heartfelt lyrics from the singer-songwriter, it is the latest in a series of original tracks that have struck a chord with her audience, and a change in tempo from her more upbeat, previous offerings. Heart featured on hit TV series, Love Island and has toured with Picture This across Britain and Europe.
Since she first came to prominence in 2020, Heart has signed with Warner Music Ireland. She has topped the Irish singles chart, headlined her own shows, released her debut album and toured internationally.
Given the demographic of her appeal, this show is for over 14s, who must be accompanied by an adult.
Drawing inspiration from strong female vocalists Adele, Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo and Maisie Peters, Heart brings youthful originality to the music landscape, and began composing during the Covid lockdown at the age of 16.
Unafraid to delve into themes of loss, identity and heartache, Lea wears her heart on her sleeve as she delivers timeless performances.
Lea Heart appears at Monroe’s Live on Saturday, September 23 at 6:30pm, with support by Brad Heidi.
Tickets to this over-14s gig – who must be accompanied by an adult - cost €18 and are available from www.monroes.ie
