Creators of one of Ireland’s top weekly podcasts But, We Move take to the stage at Monroe’s Live this month for a light-hearted take on serious wellbeing issues.
Nominated for the 2023 Irish Podcast Awards, psychology coach Chloë Micallef and law graduate-cum-content creator Courtney Casey will perform live for the first time on Friday, September 29, combining wit with insight into mental health and wellness.
Through their podcast, they aim to raise awareness on topics such as overthinking, grief, attachment styles, anxiety, confidence, boundaries, seasonal affective disorder. The girls often invite expert guests to discuss issues ranging from addiction, childhood trauma, borderline personality disorder, menopause and self-belief.
Since its inception in November 2021, the podcasters have reached 35 countries and 267 cities, with over 60,000 downloads of their almost 70 episodes to date.
“This is something we have been planning for a long time and we are so excited to get on stage and meet our listeners,” says Chloë, whose coaching is based on a branch of psychology that investigates the ‘science of happiness’ or: “What drives individuals to thrive in their lives, and how we can apply this in practical ways,” she explains.
At its peak, the But, We Move podcast secured the number four spot in Ireland on the competitive podcast charts, and has been trended on Spotify.
Tickets for the But, We Move podcast show on Friday, September 29, at 7pm cost €12.50 and are available from www.monroes.ie .
