Galway Camera Club was founded over 60 years ago and caters for all levels of photographers from beginners to experienced photographers in a friendly atmosphere.

The Club meets on a weekly basis on Thursday nights from 7.30pm to 9.30pm from September to May with a short break for Christmas. The club has an exciting range of speakers and presenters lined up for the new season and all will be revealed at the opening night.

In addition to a wide range of speakers, there will be assistance and outings for beginners and novice photographers. The Club runs monthly photography competitions, both print and digital, which are judged by external judges and these are fun and give valuable feedback.

In addition there are members nights for members to showcase their photography; club outings planned for various locations around Galway and other events further afield.

Further details of the Club can be seen on website and on facebook and instagram

If interested in becoming a member of Galway’s longest established Camera Club, come along on the night.
