Mark Lohan Kitchens (MLK ) is bringing its unique brand of kitchen design to Galway city, with the opening of its new showroom in Ballybane Industrial Estate on Monday, August 28. MLK is an award-winning bespoke kitchen company based in Roscommon town, with more than 20 years’ experience and expertise in designing, crafting and installing exceptional kitchens for clients all over Ireland and the UK.
Mark Lohan, owner of MLK, explains why Galway was the natural choice when it came to opening the company's second showroom. “We have very close ties to Galway and in particular ATU Connemara, our operations manager and a large number of our highly skilled carpenters are graduates of the college,” he said. Such are the ties, MLK partakes in the college's annual industry day, which allows the company to share industry best practice and to engage with students regarding work placement and recruitment. MLK reciprocates with open days for ATU students at its Roscommon showroom and manufacturing facilities.
“A major driver is our clients; a large proportion of our client base is from Galway and surrounding areas," Mark Lohan added. "Galway city is a hub for all things home related.” Lohan believes the introduction of a 6,500sq ft. flagship showroom spanning two floors, with 35 individual kitchens, walk-in pantry/boot room, living room, and walk-in wardrobe displays, showcasing the latest design styles, along with more than 200 working appliances from leading brands such as Quooker, BORA, De Dietrich, Siemens, Neff and AEG, will enhance Galway’s home and kitchen company offering, making it the destination for anyone renovating or building their dream home.
The showroom based at Unit 3, Whitegate, Ballybane Industrial Estate, Galway, H91 Y9FV will open its doors on Monday, August 28 at 9am. The showroom will be open six days a week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm, and closed for lunch daily from 1pm to 2pm.
