GRETB Train the Trainer programme commencing next month

GRETB are offering a part-time Training and Development - Delivery & Evaluation Level 6 programme in September.

The purpose of this certified programme is to equip the learner with the knowledge, skill, and competence to deliver, assess and evaluate a training course. The programme is aimed at anyone who wishes to gain a training qualification and this year will have particular focus on what is involved in delivering formal training to Apprentices during their Apprenticeship.

Part of the programme will be coordinated by a current GRETB Apprenticeship Instructor who will bring their experience and knowledge of what is involved in training Apprentices in their chosen trade.

While this course is open to all seeking a training qualification, it will also be very suitable for people who have a National Craft Certificate and are interested in gaining a training qualification. The course will also help develop learners IT Skills.

The programme will be delivered at the GRETB Training Centre in Mervue, Galway which is currently expanding its training capacity to train Apprentices to meet national demand.

It will run two evenings per week (Monday and Wednesday ) from 6.30pm to 9.30pm commencing September 11.
