Galway people will celebrates US president Barack Obama’s first year in the White House at a gala Independence Day barbecue to be held on Friday July 3.
The Radisson Hotel has teamed up with local charity Console Galway to put on an unforgettable evening of American style festivities for the unique celebrations.
The American themed barbecue is open to everyone and kicks off with a punch reception at 6.30pm. DJ Johnny Burke will play American classics and help local people celebrate Independence Day in true Galway style.
“The fashion stakes are set to be high with the announcement that Marian’s Boutique will be awarding a special prize to the Best Dressed Lady on the evening,” says Margaret Tierney of Console.
“All proceeds from the evening go to Console Galway to raise funds for local people who have suffered the devastating effects of losing a loved one to suicide.”
