IThe AAI sanctioned Annaghdown Summer Solstice 10k takes place on Sunday.
Now in its third year, this race has become an attractive addition to the west of Ireland race calendar.
A large turnout is expected, while the popular children’s fun run from the Annaghdown National School to the Pier at 3pm will precede the main event at 4pm.
Prizes awarded for the first three senior men and women, first man over 40, 50, & 60, first women over 35,45, & 55, and also first junior male and female.
All finishers in the chidlren’s fun run will receive a medal.
Entries will be taken on line at www.irishrunningtours.com Pre-registration is €15, while entry on the day is €20.
