New exhibition by Luke McMullan at The Kenny Gallery as part of Arts Festival

An exhibition of over thirty new paintings by artist Luke McMullan, ‘Monarch’, will launch at The Kenny Gallery in Liosbán this Friday, July 14.

Part of this year’s Galway International Arts Festival, the exhibition features over thirty original artworks for sale in a diverse range of mediums and techniques. The exhibition will run until August 8 and will be launched at Kenny's on Friday July 14 at 6pm by poet Gerry Hanberry - all are welcome to attend.

Luke McMullan’s introduction to art came through writing graffiti in the 90s, when he adopted the pseudonym ‘Stix’. He has been honing his craft ever since, and although he no longer paints on walls, the organic and adaptive nature of graffiti is at the foundation of the art he produces today. ‘Monarch’ is a collection of new paintings that celebrates the transformative power of renewal and invites the viewer to reflect on their own potential for growth and transformation.

‘Monarch’ by Luke McMullan runs from July 14 – August 8 both in-store and online at The Kenny Gallery, Liosbán Retail Park, Tuam Road, Galway and online at thekennygallery.ie
