"Quirky, zany, and, most importantly, funny" - Capital Magazine

John Colleary is this week's Tigh He-He Comedy Club special guest in Róisín Dubh tomorrow night, Thursday June 22, at 8pm.

Aside from being one of the most in-demand comics in the land, John Colleary has also co-written and starred in IFTA nominated shows, The Savage Eye (RTÉ2 ) and Irish Pictorial Weekly (RTÉ One ).

A talented actor and mimic, John featured as one third of The Gusset Brothers on The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ One ). John spent much of 2022 supporting Tommy Tiernan on his sold-out Tomfoolery tour to tens of thousands of comedy fans up, down and around the country, and later this year, he will embark on his own national tour - Loud & Colleary.

Though strictly a club comic, he has taken his act around the UK and parts of Europe, where he tackles the universal topics of relationships, addiction, and the baffling dilemmas of trying to deal with reality, when reality isn’t all that clear to him.

This week’s host is Nigerian-born Irish comedian Emman Idama, who has been honing his craft around Ireland and the UK with unique storytelling skills. He has appeared on RTÉ shows such as No Worries If Not, Laughter In The Eyre (filmed at the 2019 Galway Comedy Festival ), Des Bishop’s This Is Ireland in 2016 and more.

For the month of June, the first 25 tickets for each Tigh He-He are a shockingly underpriced €5 in advance from roisindubh.net - or procrastinate and pay €10.

It's €10 at the door too - although it’s usually sold out in advance, so pre-booking is advised. Doors 8pm. Age 18+. Line-ups subject to change.
