New all-electric Maxus eDeliver 7 van unveiled

Maxus has unveiled the eDeliver 7, its newest all-electric commercial offering for right-hand drive markets.

Pitted as a medium-sized eLCV, the eDeliver 7 will bridge the gap between Maxus’ current eLCV offerings, the smaller eDeliver 3 and big brother, the eDeliver 9.

Pricing for the eDeliver 7 will be announced this month (June ) with orders then being taken from this August.

The latest Maxus eVan promises a considerable range, clocking up to 365km (WLTP combined ) on a single charge (88kWh battery ). There will also be a second battery option (77kWh ) to choose from.

Available in three size configurations, with a payload of up to 1,200kg (depending on which version and battery ), the eDeliver 7 features a 150kW/330Nm high power, low energy motor with an acceleration time of zero to 100km in 11 seconds.

The base model L1 H1 Cargo Van cargo volume of 5.9m3, with the longer wheelbase version (similar height roof ) featuring a volume of 6.7m3. The long wheel base higher roof version extends the cargo volume up to 8.7m3.

The eDeliver 7 offers DC + AC dual charging modes, with the former promising a 43 minutes charge time for an 80 per cent battery charge.

The eDeliver 7 has three driving modes, Eco, Normal and Power, and a one-touch start.

Safety features include blind spot detection, lane change assist, AEBS (autonomous emergency braking system ), fatigue driving monitoring, plus front and rear parking sensors, and 360 degree cameras.

A 12.3 inch touch screen infotainment system is also included as standard with Apple Carplay and Android Auto available.
