Barbecue season at The Ardilaun is “hotting up" for the summer with the hotel gardens now in full bloom. The Ardilaun is a hotel for all seasons with lovely gardens and patio space to the rear with a heated terrace area which is ideal to gather your tribe and enjoy some al fresco dining – popular for corporate get togethers, private and family celebrations.

The hotel offers the perfect outdoor setting with beautifully landscaped gardens, ideal for groups of 30 guests or more who like socialising with work colleagues, family, friends, or networking, or your next sports and social outing with all-inclusive barbecue packages for €35 per person for adults and €15 per child.

The barbecue package includes your drinks reception – choose from summer fruit punch, sparkling wine or The Ardilaun elderflower crush, which is a gin based cocktail, and non alcoholic options available also. Also included is a comprehensive barbecue menu followed by dessert.

The Ardilaun’s kitchen team have compiled a variety of mouthwatering barbecue menu options to choose from, with popular items such as minute and fillet steaks, barbecue pork belly strips, grilled beef burgers, vegetable and halloumi kebabs and marinated chicken fillet to name a few. The Ardilaun Hotel gardening team, headed by landscape gardener John McCallion, were recently awarded Best Hotel Garden in the Galway City Tidy Towns Competition. Recent developments with the hotel’s grounds include new pathways at the rear, planting along the avenue, and arboreal management at the back of the hotel allowing for more views of Galway Bay near Salthill.
