Skoda Auto has revealed plans to grow its battery electric vehicle (BEV ) line-up to a total of six models by 2026. This is letting their customers know that that it is intent on a strong EV offering going forward.
The Czech brand said it will have a “particularly diverse” electric portfolio in four years from now, offering the “right vehicle for every customer”.
In addition to the Skoda Enyaq and the Enyaq Coupé, due to receive a “comprehensive update” in 2025, Skoda is planning to introduce four new all electric vehicles.
In 2024, the first upcoming BEV will be the Elroq, the all-electric successor to the Skoda Karoq. It will be 10cm longer than the Karoq and should have luggage space of around 500 litres.
Next is a small entry-level electric SUV with a price tag of around €25,000 – but will probably be slightly more in Ireland - and will be introduced in 2025. It will offer a similar luggage capacity as the Scala.
The following year in 2026, the brand will introduce its first all-electric estate car, which will be around 4.7 metres-long.
The largest of Skoda’s future BEVs will be the production version of the Vision 7S concept. This seven-seater will be around 4.9 metres long and round off the upper end of the portfolio. It is set for a 2026 arrival.
Skoda Auto claims it will have invested a total of €5.6 billion in e-mobility by 2027.
