Youth Ballet West explore the theme of noise in stunning new show

White Noise is a new and highly original piece created by the dancers of Youth Ballet West around the theme of noise in our lives.

This is a newly-devised contemporary ballet from the teenage dancers of Youth Ballet West, the only semi-professional dance company west of the Shannon, with members who hail from seven counties.

This show explores how we live in the modern world. We are surrounded by noise and media in our daily lives from the moment our alarms wake us up, until we put our devices down at night.

From street noises to social media, news bulletins to our favourite music, ‘White Noise’ explores the complex relationship we have with the sounds of the world around us. In all this world of noise, where is the silence?

Set to a stunning soundtrack and visual background of video images, we invite you to join us as the dancers of Youth Ballet West express in movement their responses to the noise of our modern world.
