A new online Security Studies course being launched by GRETB Training Centre presents a great opportunity to take your private security industry qualifications to the next level.
GRETB Training Centre is launching a new fully tutor-led, online Security Studies course starting on Monday, May 15.
The course will include the following qualifications:
• Security industry procedures QQI 5N1785.
• Conflict resolution QQI 5N0692.
• Safety and health at work QQI 5N1794.
• PSA Security Guard (Guarding ) licence.
Job opportunities
These qualifications will give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to apply for promotional opportunities in the private security industry including team leader, site supervisor, contract supervisor and contract manager roles.
Entry requirements
• Excellent spoken and written English are essential to participate on this course.
• QQI Level 4 or similar qualification.
• Sufficient IT skills to enable you to successfully participate on the course.
• Applicants should have a motivation to learn, an interest in the subject and the ability to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies set out in the course.
QQI exam location
While training will take place fully online, all exams will take place in person in Galway.
