Galway International Arts Festival is inviting businesses and individuals to ‘play a part’ in the festival this July by becoming a Friend of the Festival.

This year GIAF is focused on growth, with plans for major venue reconfigurations, the presentation of its most ambitious dance and theatre programme ever, an incredible music, visual arts and discussion line-up. The Friends scheme supports GIAF’s policy of making the arts accessible to all, which includes offering 25% of the programme free of charge each year.

Galway International Arts Festival’s Friends scheme is open to individual and businesses friends with prices starting from as little as €150. Friends enjoy a host of benefits including priority booking, complimentary tickets, festival merchandise and listing on the GIAF website.

You can give the gift of Friendship to an arts loving family member, friend, or colleague or simply buy a friendship for yourself.

Announcing details of its 2023 Friends Campaign, ahead of the 46th annual Festival, which takes place from 17 – 30 July this year, GIAF Fundraising Manager, Aisling O’Sullivan said this year they are very proud to celebrate their 46th birthday and are really looking forward to what will be one of our best festivals ever.

“The support we receive from our Friends will play a very important role in helping to make that possible and, as the festival approaches, I look forward to reconnecting with old friends and developing new connections and discussing all things festival,” she said.
