On March 17 2005, the EYE Cinema in Wellpark opened its doors to an excited bunch of Galwegians, curious to see what this shiny new cinema in town had to offer. Since then, the EYE has bloomed into Galway city's ‘Home of Cinema’.
To mark their 18th birthday and as a sign of thanks to their loyal customers, the EYE Cinema are offering €8 tickets for all shows all day, this Friday March 17 (luxury screen included ) and €7 for all Early Bird screenings before noon.
Titles showing include ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’, ‘Creed III’, ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’, ‘Allelujah’, ‘Scream VI’, ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’, ‘Rye Lane, ‘Pearl’ and many more.
Following this, on Saturday March 18, they will broadcast the final Irish game of the Six Nations rugby tournament live in their largest auditorium. Doors will open at 4:30pm for a 5pm start. Tickets are free of charge but a 75c booking fee will apply.
