Shot fired at house in Rahoon
Gardai in the city are investigating an incident at Rahoon last Friday in which a shot was fired at a house.
The incident at approximately 4.30am saw the shot fired at Corrach Bui, Rahoon, Galway. Damage was caused to the property in question and nobody were injured.
Gardaí attached to Galway Garda Station are appealing for witnesses who may have been in the area at the time to contact Galway Garda Station on 091538000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or at any Garda Station.
Investigating Gardaí are also appealing to any drivers who may have been in the area of the Western Distributor Road/Rahoon/Westside area of Galway City around this time and who may have dashcam footage to make this available to investigating Gardaí.

Woodquay burglary
On Tuesday, February 28 at about 18:30hrs, a burglary occurred at a house at Walshes Terrace, Woodquay, Galway City.
Entry was gained to a shed at the rear of the property where a De Walt Saw and a bench was stolen.

Houses burgled
in county
Gardai are investigating a spate of burglaries around the county last week in which a number of houses were targeted.
On Saturday, March 4, a burglary occurred at Cappadavock, Lavally, Tuam where entry was gained to a house via a rear window.
This incident occurred at between 7:20pm and 8:40pm. The owners returned to find that their house had been ransacked.

On Saturday March 4 between midday (12:00hrs ) and 8pm a house was ransacked at Scregg, Kilkerrin, Ballinasloe.
During the course of this burglary, some cash and a gold ring was taken.

On the same day between 5pm and 11pm, a burglary occurred at Carrowntryla, Dunmore where entry was gained to a house via the rear patio door.
During the course of this burglary some cash was taken.

Later, at Meelick, Lavally, Tuam, a burglary occurred where entry was gained via the front window and the house was ransacked.
This burglary occurred between 4pm and 4:45pm.
