Mayor of Galway City, Clodagh Higgins, Councillors Terry O’ Flaherty, Colette Connolly, Martina O’ Connor and Imelda Byrne are asking the public to come and join them to celebrate International Women’s Day with an interactive coffee and networking morning which will take place at the Hardiman Hotel between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon on Wednesday 8 March.

The City representatives decided to come together to mark International Women’s Day by embracing equality and inclusivity over a cup of coffee with members of the community in Galway.

The City representatives are delighted to have the support of the Hardiman Hotel who came on board to host the morning and generously sponsor the event. There is an option of donating and any funds raised on the day will be given to COPE Galway, a charity that does trojan work in our community.

The group of City Councillors recognise the difference COPE makes to the community by way of supporting families and individuals and they are collectively delighted to be in a position to raise much needed funding for this wonderful charity.

Mayor Higgins and Councillors O’ Flaherty, Connolly, O’ Connor and Byrne are looking forward to welcoming one and all to the Hardiman Hotel on 8 March for what promises to be a wonderful morning.
