God almighty it's that time of year again - TedFest returns to Inis Mór from Thursday March 2 to Sunday March 5. Can't make your way out to the island? No problem there! The TedFest Table Quiz is on in Massimo's on Wednesday March 1, and the Toilet Duck Awards are on in the Roisin Dubh on Thursday March 2.
Is there anything to be said for another table quiz?
This long-running tradition has been an annual staple for Ted fans and always a blessed night of craic, celebrating Ireland’s most divine TV comedy. Regulars will know the annual quiz has been getting harder over the years - this year, the toughness will be turned down, and the craic will be turned up.
As always, questions will be Father Ted related and will include picture and audio rounds. There will also be interactive rounds including a Lovely Girls Competition and a TeaMaster Trial. There will be top prizes for the three most knowledgeable teams, as well as spot prizes for Best Dressed and Best Team Name.

The quiz will take place in Massimo on Wednesday March 1. Registration and pre-quiz photo round from 7pm, and things will kick off at 8pm.

Next up is the Tedfest “Toilet Duck” Awards
The Tedfest “Toilet Duck” Awards are back - a stand-up comedy competition featuring 16 of Ireland’s finest up and coming comedians battling it out in a comedic war of wits until there’s only one winner left standing.
This champ will walk away with the coveted Toilet Duck Award trophy, €300 cash, €700 worth of paid comedy club and festival spots - plus bragging rights and filthy looks from loser friends and acquaintances alike.
The Toilet Duck Awards, hosted by Eddie Mullarkey, will take place in the Roisin Dubh on Thursday March 2.
Doors are at 8pm, the show will start at 8.30pm.
