The fast-paced rhythm of this energetic band is creating a stir on the musical landscape as their unique style has earned them a loyal fan base and critical acclaim from audiences across Europe.

Lead singer Rob Heron is a skilled songwriter and musician. With a voice that has been described as a cross between Tom Waits and Hank Williams, he is joined by bandmates Tom Cronin on mandolin, harmonica and guitar, Colin Nicholson on accordion, organ and piano, Ted Harbot on double bass and electric bass, and Paul Archibald on drums.

Together, their story began over ten years ago as four friends studying at Newcastle University. The accomplished multi-instrumentalists are now based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and have since toured with leading Americana bands, from Pokey LaFarge to the Dead South. Not only that, but they’ve performed on the prestigious stages of Glastonbury and the Cambridge Folk Festival.

Having released five studio albums, the band are coming to Galway hot on the heels of their new single ‘She Hypnotised Me’. Their mix of classic country, rhythm, and blues with that rockabilly vibe showcases their versatility and gift for storytelling through toe-tapping tunes.

It’s set to be a night of fast-paced, high-octane fun with a feast of original song at Monroe’s Live on Friday, April 14 from 8pm.
