Gardaí in Galway are investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on the N84 near Carrowbrowne, on the Headford road Galway, on Sunday February 19, 2023 shortly before 6.30am. The pedestrian sadly passed away.

Gardaí in Galway are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage “Dash-Cam“ and were travelling on the Headford Road between 5.30am and 6.30am on Sunday February 19 are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.

Burglaries Dunmore Galway

Gardaí in Tuam are investigating a burglary that occurred on Thursday February 9, 2023 in Gortnagoyne Dunmore Galway, between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. The homeowner returned to the house to discover a sum of cash and jewellery taken from the house. Gardaí are looking to speak to anyone with any information in relation to this crime, or anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around this time are asked to contact Tuam Garda Station on (093 )–70840or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.

Gardaí in Tuam are investigating a burglary that occurred on Thursday February 9, 2023 in Curraghaun Dunmore Galway between 7pm and 9pm. A number of items were taken from the house. Gardaí are looking to speak to anyone with any information in relation to this crime, or anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around this time are asked to contact Tuam Garda Station on (093 )–70840 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.

Gardaí in Tuam are also appealing for witnesses to a burglary at Timiduane Clonberne Ballinasloe that occurred between Thursday February 9 4pm and Friday February 10 at 2am. A sum of cash was taken from the house. Gardaí are looking to speak to anyone with any information in relation to this crime, or anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around this time are asked to contact Tuam Garda Station on (093 )–70840 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
