Legendary Irish Music Stalwarts are coming to Monroe’s Live

Irish music powerhouses, Fiachna Ó Braonáin of the Hothouse Flowers, Tom Dunne of Something Happens and multi-instrumentalist Alan Connor are joining forces for ‘On The Road Again’ at Monroe’s Live on Saturday, February 18. Inspired by the success of their first radio performance together, Fiachna Ó Braonáin and Tom Dunne wowed listeners with their renditions of Christy Moore and Willie Nelson.

Combined with the talent of Alan Connor, who has performed with artists of such calibre as Sharon Shannon and Mary Black, ‘On The Road Again’ is a unique opportunity to hear the work of these talented Irish musicians who are stalwarts of the industry. For the first time, the three-piece will deliver a night of stories and song, uniting their decades of experience at home and abroad.

Driven by a passion for composing and performance, Dunne and Ó Braonáin have brought together their different backgrounds in a melodic fusion that is set to ignite the stage.
