Gardaí investigating the single car fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R347 near Ballyglunin early on Chjristmas Eve have appealed for information that may help their investigation.
The driver, Jamie Barrett-Morley from Ryehill, Monivea died at the scene. The R347 (Between Annagh Hill and Palm Tree junction ) was closed with local diversions in place, for the duration of the initial examination by Forensic Collision Investigators.
Mr Barrett Morley was laid to rest in Tobair Padraig cemetery, at Ryehill, yestertday morning (Wednesday ), after Requiem Mass in the Sacred Heart Church in Ryehill.
He is survived by his parents Elaine and Christopher and sisters Alana, Emma, Lauren and Rebecca..
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
They are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam ) and were travelling in the area between 2:30am and 3:00am to make this footage available to Gardaí.
