Fíbín sa Taibhdhearc presents Fionn agus an Bradán Feasa, The Christmas Panto

Written by Bridget Bhreathnach and directed by Séamus Hughes, Fíbín sa Taibhdhearc's Christmas pantomime travels back to ancient Ireland for a magical adventure with Fionn agus an Bradán Feasa (Fionn and the Salmon of Knowledge )

Fionn Mac Cumhail is destined to be the leader of The Fianna, but he will have to defeat his father’s enemies first and the ever-so-slightly, unhinged poet, Fionnéigeas.

How will he do this when he is still only a boy? Luckily Fionn has some friends in his corner – the absolutely brilliant druid Bómall, (seriously, she knows all the magic ) and the mindbogglingly good warrior Liath Luachra (she did not pay me to say that, honestly! ). Brave heroes, crazy poets and an extremely clever fish, meet them all this Christmas for a madcap adventure!

The cast includes Bláthnaid Daly, Conrad Jones-Brangan, Donncha Crowley, Eilís Carey and the children’s panto cast. Written by Bridget Bhreathnach, directed by Séamus Hughes and designed by Fiachra Davoren. Music for the show is provided by Dónal McConnon, who directed the 424 Brass Band who performed on Culture Night with Fíbín sa Taibhdhearc.
