Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce to perform at The Mick Lally Theatre

Best known as a powerful writing and performing duo, Niall Teague and Padraic Joyce have developed their craft as songwriters and performers and grown in popularity since winning the Panceltic international song contests in 2018. Influenced by their local Galway community, culture, and sounds, they perform music that speaks to fans across the musical spectrum. They have become important new contributors to folk music both in English and in the Irish language.

Their signature style has become synonymous with diverse melodies, tight vocal harmony and compositions influenced by folk, blues and roots music . This band is on the rise, with new songs and live appearances with artists such as Sharon Shannon and John Spillane, they are well on their way to the success they’ve worked so hard for.

With their new album due for release in 2023 through Arts council funding, expect to hear more tales from the west with beautiful harmony singing and unforgettable hooks on guitar and fiddle.
