Burglary in Craughwell
Gardai are appealing for information following an attempted burglary at a home in Greenhouse, Craughwell, last week. This incident occurred on Wednesday November 16, some time between 9am and 1pm.
The homeowner returned home to find the back door of the property had been damaged. No entry was gained.
Gardai are asking anyone who may have seen any suspect people or vehicles in the Craughwell area at this time to contact Gort Garda Station on 091 636 400.
Burglary in Renvyle
A burglary occurred at Gorteennaglogh, Tully, Renvyle, last week.
This break-in occurred at some time between Wednesday November 16 and Friday November 18. The intruder(s ) gained entry via a side patio door and ransacked the property.
This is a quiet, rural, area and gardai are hoping that someone may have seen suspect people or vehicles in the area during the period this burglary occurred.

Car damaged in Galway Docks
A vehicle was damaged while parked in a car park at Dock Road, Galway, at some time between 7.30pm on Thursday November 17 and 8.30am on Friday November 18.
The culprit smashed the front window and appears to have also jumped on the roof of the car, causing further damage.
Other patrons in the car park at the time may have heard or seen this occurring and are asked to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.
Damage at Spanish Arch

Also on November 17, between 11.15pm and 11.25pm, gardai received a report of criminal damage at the Spanish Arch Car Park.
The barrier of the car park was damaged by two men.

Theft from vehicle
Gardai are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a number of items from a car on the Headford Road last week.
This incident occurred on Thursday November 17 between 5.30pm and 6pm at the car park in Galway Retail Park.
Personal items including cash were taken from the vehicle. Gardai are asking anyone who may have seen this occurring, or observed anyone acting suspiciously in the area at this time, to contact Galway Garda Station on 091 538000.
Gardai issue advice to shoppers ahead of Christmas
With the Christmas period fast approaching, An Garda Síochána are asking people to be vigilant when purchasing gifts and high value items, and ensure they are not left visible in parked vehicles.
Gardai are reminding people that items left in parked vehicles for long periods could present an opportunity for a thief, particularly if the items are visible inside the vehicle.
Gardai are also advising people to be wary of fraudulent websites when buying goods online. Shoppers should ensure that they are buying goods from an official company website.
They should also check their credit card account or bank account to ensure the correct sum of money is taken from the account in any online transaction.
