Enable Ireland would like to wish everyone in Galway and beyond a very happy, safe and healthy Christmas and to thank everyone who has supported it through the years.
Enable Ireland is a registered charity (RCN 20006617 ) providing services in Galway for children and young people with complex needs under the programme Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People and is the lead agency in Network 5, Galway City West. It is part-funded by the state and every year it needs to raise additional funds to meet the costs of delivering disability services. It continue to receive fantastic support from the people of Galway and the local business community.
If you are in a position to make a donation to its services this Christmas, your gift will go towards supporting over 400 children and young people with complex needs from Galway City West through Network 5, and Galway County for outreach day respite, family support and assistive technology.
Enable Ireland provides assessment, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language, psychological support, accessible transport, outreach respite services and support for children and families.
Enable Ireland is currently fundraising for the much-needed renovation of its children’s services centre, which commenced this year. With the rise in building costs, it need more funding than its current budget allows. The refurbished building will be more accessible, family-friendly and designed for the changing profile of the children who avail of its services in Galway under the Progressing Disability Services model for children with complex needs.
