Fast-growing Oughterard Rugby Football Club has secured a sponsorship deal with online, cloud and datacentre services company Sleepless.
And the Galway-based company is making its presence felt with a recently added pop-up cafe at the club's Clifden Road base, serving beverages and treats throughout the autumn and winter.
Oughterard is currently enjoying a successful season, with the seniors wracking up two successful wins over Claremorris RFC and Galway city's OLBC, while the club boasts budding junior teams and a minis section, catering for children as young as two years of age.
Managing director of Sleepless, Daragh Naughton, says the company is a fan of the Oughterard club.
"We have been absorbed by the success of Oughterard Rugby Football Club across its divisions in recent years. The club has a bright and exciting future, and Sleepless is proud to be part of its story.”
Oughterard Rugby Football Club chairman Niall Walsh says without the commitment from companies like Sleepless clubs would struggle to provide the proper foundations for all these teams to perform to their potential.
"For a team to perform well on a pitch they need the support of so many good people behind the scenes just like Sleepless."
