Moores Butchers is owned by husband and wife team, Liam and Lorraine Moore. Liam has been butchering for 24 years and is aided by fellow veteran butcher, Iain Kinehan, who has been in the trade for 37 years. Having previously managed many successful butchers, this is the first shop Liam has opened under his name, but with the wealth of experience in Liam, Lorraine, and Iain and the high quality produce offered, the future is bright for Moores.
As experts in butchering, the duo ensure fresh and favourable options for all customers, regardless of dietary requirements.
"As a coeliac myself, I make sure that around 90 per cent of our products are gluten free. We also have dairy free options and try to cater for all," said Liam.
Moore's offers a great range of high quality products, guaranteeing something for everyone. The shop opened at the beginning of August this year, but has quickly figured out how to appeal to all customers' budgets and lifestyles, and has a variety of options to suit anyone looking to up their protein intake.
In Moores, there is a strong emphasis on locally grown produce, and this ethos supports local suppliers. "I want our customers to support me and to support local, so it's very important to me that I have locally grown meat. Our chicken fillets are 100 per cent Irish," said Liam Moore.
The dry aged beef sold in Moores is of local origin and is aged for a minimum of 28 days, resulting in beef which is tender, full of flavour, and a welcome addition to any dinner plate.
Open seven days a week, make sure to visit Moores when planning your Christmas menu.
