Launch your future career with Galway training provider

National Learning Network in Galway supports people to make successful transitions, whatever their stage in life. It can help with transition from school to the adult environment, with access to vocational training, support with getting a job, recovery and wellness, improving people’s health, enhancing quality of life, and achieving successful inclusion in the community.

National Learning Network offers flexible, fully-funded, training courses for people who have mental health issues, learning difficulties, autism, or have a disability. Students are supported to fulfil their own goals, whether this is to get a qualification or a job, or to enhance personal development.

The training courses, offering qualifications including QQI and ICDL, have impacted significantly on the progression of people with a disability and/or health conditions into employment.

The Galway centre is starting a new course, Launch Your Future, running for eight weeks from November 7, 2022, until January 6, 2023. This short, but focused, programme identifies your skills, strengths, and career opportunities for both employment and further education. On completion of the course, students will have developed a clear employment and further education action plan with identified pathways to help launch their career.

Other courses running in the Galway centre include Plans for Me, Explore, Introduction to Gaming, Skills for Life, Fresh Start, Horticulture/Landscaping, Employer Based Training, and Home-Based Computers. All are welcome to attend the centre open day on November 15 between 10am and 2pm to find out more about the courses.
