KPMG celebrated its 40th anniversary delivering for businesses in Galway at an event on Friday last. The Galway office has in fact been open for 42 years but the celebrations were delayed as a result of the pandemic.
KPMG has strong links to the city of Galway and the wider Region, with four decades of close ties to the local business community through service delivery to clients and involvement with organisations across the region, including Chambers of Commerce, University of Galway, and the Atlantic Technological University (ATU ).
Its business in Galway has grown in tandem with the region, providing fantastic opportunities for graduates and more senior professionals across an ever-increasing range of services.
Multinationals and domestic businesses alike thrive in the West of Ireland, with access to a highly educated and skilled workforce being key to this success. This is facilitated through two excellent local universities and the ability to attract and retain talent in a region that provides exceptional cultural and leisure opportunities along the Wild Atlantic Way.
KPMG is Ireland’s leading professional services firm, offering a range of audit, tax and advisory services to a broad range of domestic and international clients across all sectors of business and the economy. They help their clients explore potential obstacles to change and collaborate on critical decisions that can deliver real value to their businesses.
There are many reasons for KPMG’s success in Galway and across Ireland, but it is ultimately down to their clients and their people. Here’s to the next 40 years.
