The Amazing Apples reunite past and present for a special ten-year celebration

The entire Amazing Apples ensemble returns to the musical orchard at Monroe’s Live on Saturday, October 22, in a special performance to celebrate ten years since the release of their debut EP entitled 3 or 4 Shoes.

Known to raise the roof with their passion and energy, the Amazing Apples give it their all with their rousing tempos, set firmly in a folk genre with a modern indie flair. With stomping originals and electric covers, the Amazing Apples are a tour de force on the live music scene. Since they first set foot into Cuan Studios (Stiúideo Cuan ) in Spiddal in 2012 to record their earliest album, they have achieved national and international acclaim.

This incredibly talented five-piece band of multi-instrumentalists have played alongside acts such as Mumford and Sons, Walking on Cars, The Coronas, Gavin James, Ryan Sheridan, Damien Dempsey, The Riptide Movement, Sharon Shannon, and Paddy Casey.

While the line-up has changed over the years, they are all coming together for this once-off gig, which is set to be a night to remember for all Apples fans. Previous band members Eanna Fahy, Anthony Ryan and Jimmy Moran are coming home to roost to join current members Darragh Crehan, Cian Crehan, Brian Grace, Eamon Rabbitte and Cathal Leonard on stage at Monroe’s Live.

Ten years ago, 3 or 4 Shoes rocketed to the top of the iTunes album charts and reached the top 40 in the Irish charts. Now, they are reuniting past and present for one night only on Saturday, October 22 from 10pm. With support from Mikey Burke.
