Coláiste Éinde — supporting students to reach their potential

Coláiste Éinde is a co-educational, voluntary, secondary school situated in Salthill. The school caters for boys and girls from first year to Leaving Certificate, including an optional transition year programme. For nearly a century, the school has helped students mature into young adults with a balance of skills, knowledge, experience, and values that enables them to enjoy fulfilling lives and rewarding careers. Operating under the patronage of the Bishop of Galway, today’s vibrant school community continues in this proud tradition of excellence in education.

The Department of Education, in its latest Whole School Evaluation, praised the school’s positive atmosphere of care, support, and affirmation. Coláiste Éinde’s dedicated staff provide an extensive programme of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to support the holistic development of students, in addition to the wide variety of subjects on offer at both Junior and Senior Cycles. Coláiste Éinde is proud of its happy and positive environment which ensures that all its students are cherished equally and allowed to develop their own individuality in a comfortable and safe setting. Parents are encouraged to show a keen interest in their children’s education and parent-teacher liaison is viewed as vital in encouraging progress.

The success of Coláiste Éinde students in their academic endeavours, as well as in their achievements on the sports field, in the arts, and in their many other extra-curricular activities, serves as a resounding endorsement of the combined efforts of the school community.
