GRETB Training Centre Mervue has launched a New Skills to Advance Route 3 Manual Handling Instructor Training Course.
This programme leads to a Special Purpose Award in Manual Handling Instruction QQI Special Purpose Award NFQ level 6 comprising of two standalone five credit modules — Manual Handling Instruction and People Handling Instruction.
On successful completion of this award, learners (potential instructors ) will be able to effectively design and deliver manual and people handling instruction for the workplace.
Learners will also develop knowledge and skills in transferrable areas such as communications and presentation preparation and delivery.
Qualification for this course: ONLY through Employers for employees in Galway or Roscommon.
This is a five day course over two weeks.
Week 1: 2 days online
Week 2: 3 days in GRETB Training Centre Mervue, Galway City
