Emma Doran brings new show, MAD, Isn’t It?, to Galway Comedy Festival

EMMA DORAN describes herself as a “comedian, mother, chancer”, but in reality, as the Irish Independent said, she is “one of the hottest young stars in Irish comedy”.

Emma has been on our screens lately with the new RTÉ 2 sketch show, No Worries if Not!, but Galway can see her up close and personal in her new show, MAD, Isn’t It? in The Loft at Seven on Thursday October 27 at 7.30pm as part of the Galway Comedy Festival 2022.

This new show will see Emma reflect on how her life has changed from when she was an 18-year-old to today as a woman in her late-30s with three children.

The Dublin based comedian, who The Irish Examiner has declared as “hilarious”, has performed in some of Ireland’s biggest venues, including the 3 Arena, Vicar St, and the Olympia Theatre.

She has also appeared on Bridget and Eamonn, the Saturday Night Ray D’Arcy Show, and the Today Show with Daithi and Maura, while her own stand up and sketches on independent.ie, Her.ie, and the Irish Mirror, have gone more than a bit viral in recent months.

Emma will also perform at the #GCF22 closing gala at the Town Hall Theatre with Andrew Maxwell, Rich Hall, and others.

Tickets for all the above shows are on sale via www.galwaycomedyfestival.ie
