Parlez-vous français? Take-up, improve or practise your French this autumn! The French Institute Galway offers a full range of classes for children (from age 4 ), secondary school students and adults, both daytime and evenings, starting the week of 12th of September.
The Institute, established in Galway city for the past 35 years, is renowned for its excellent results among its Leaving Cert and Junior Cert students in particular. Secondary school students are guided and helped through their acquisition of French, both oral and written, with special emphasis on continuous assessment, projects and exam skills.
The French Institute is proud to be the specialist French Language school for Adults. We offer classes at all levels, both in the mornings and in the evenings. Groups are small and designed to allow students to progress at a comfortable pace. The Institute is THE place to experience French culture and to make friends while developing your language skills.
For students of all ages and levels, who wish to fully immerse themselves in the French language, culture and way of life, and complement their study of French at the Institute, we offer Immersion Programmes in Nice and Bordeaux. These programmes take place all year round and there are many study options to choose from, as well as a wide choice of accommodation, including approved host families. Standard exchanges and French school placements for teenagers at any time of the year are also available.
Finally, the French Institute offers Business French courses, preparation courses for the DELF/DALF/TCF exams and is the only exam centre to take the TCF in Ireland.
