Stocktaking.ie, a Tuam-based company which provides an outsourced stocktaking service to some of Ireland’s greatest retail brands nationwide chose Cancer Fund for Children as their charity partner for 2022 and decided they wanted to support Daisy Lodge Cong in whatever way possible.
Patrick McDermott, MD of Stocktaking.ie is taking on the mammoth task of running the Chicago City Marathon on October 9 raising money for Daisy Lodge, Cong. Patrick has been training hard and is now on a countdown to the big event. The team at Stocktaking.ie are very proud of Patrick and are working hard to ensure this Fundraising event is a massive success.
The charity provides vital therapeutic short breaks to children throughout Ireland diagnosed with cancer and their families at Daisy Lodge, in Newcastle, Co. Down. Daisy Lodge is space to support families at the most vulnerable and difficult time in their lives. Families receive the right level of support to relax, connect, and meet other families living through a childhood cancer diagnosis.
Cancer Fund for Children plan to build a much needed second Daisy Lodge in the stunning surroundings of Cong, Co Mayo. This will ensure every child (aged 0-24 ) in Ireland diagnosed with cancer alongside their families receives much needed support.
