Carnmore Mile Fundraiser will take place on August 20 at Carnmore GAA pitch from 10am to 5pm to help construct a community walkway.
The community walkway will be constructed around the three pitches at Carnmore GAA Club and will be lit in winter to allow safe walking away from the traffic.
An investment requiring fundraising of €50,000 is required for the project which organises say will serve the community for many years to come.
Everyone is welcome on the day to come and show their support and refreshments will be served.
