A love note to Galway - Partland’s lastest single

Galway-based singer songwriter and artist Thomas McPartland has released his latest single from upcoming album 'The Empty Atlantic'.

The single 'Don't Shoot Me Those Baby Blues' comes with an animated video, also made by the writer, and features many Galway landmarks and characters.

The track and video will be released on August 26, and features on his forthcoming album 'The Empty Atlantic' with the songwriter having created a music video for each song.

The songwriter, who operates under the stage name Partland, says 'Don't Shoot Me Those Baby Blues' is love note to Galway - the song and also the music video tells the tale of bumping into an ex-girlfriend randomly and proceeding to have a catch up conversation, reminiscing on the good times. But before mustering up the courage to ask her to go for a coffee and accepts she has moved on - just as long as she doesn't shoot him the look that he fell in love with in the first place with her baby blue eyes.

His first album, 'Sing Me to Shore' was released in summer '16, and was internationally renowned songwriter Charlie McGettigan's Album of the Month on his radio show.
