Tigh He-He Comedy Club continues tonight

Good news for comedy fans in Galway city. Róisín Dubh Comedy have decided to keep the laughs coming at their weekly Tigh He-He comedy club, every Thursday throughout August to see out the summer with some top stand-up. Initially launched in early May as a pop-up comedy club, Tigh He-He has proven a hit through the summer with four different comedians each week.

Upcoming shows throughout August feature some of the finest stand up comedians on our little island, including Emma Doran & Mustafa Saed (August 4 ), Paddy McDonnell and Emman Idama (August 11 ), Micky Bartlett & Johnny Candon (August 18 ), and Joe Rooney & Kevin O’Sullivan (August 25 ) and many more.

Once again we are delighted to be supported by the nice lady in the government (called Róisín, but that's just a coincidence ) so tickets are a shockingly underpriced €5 in advance from roisindubh.net, or procrastinate and pay €8 at the door (if it’s not already sold out ). Doors 8pm. Age 18+. Line-ups subject to change.

Tonight, August 4 — here is the line-up:

Emma Doran

Emma has performed at some of the country’s best and biggest venues like 3 Arena, Vicar St and the Olympia Theatre. You’ve also seen her on the telly, honestly (Bridget and Eamonn, Saturday Night Ray D’arcy Show, other bits and bobs ). She’s also gone more than a bit viral in recent months with her stand up and sketches being shared all over the world.

With support from Lorcan Hughes — One half of Ireland's oldest & least successful boyband Totally Wired! Lorcan Hughes is now on his solo tour! But is he Liam or Noel, Robbie or Gary? Who knows? But what we do know is he's banned from China & has performed everywhere from Finglas to Finland, Dingle to Dubai, Edinburgh to Eygpt, a veteran of the comedy scene who has played every Festival & club & still isn't as famous as Mattress Mick. Come see why.

And Jack Masterson and your host Mustafa Saed

Mustafa Saed is Belfast's best Muslim comedian who is also a GP, so he knows all about the best medicine. Having performed all over the world and reached the finals of competitions such as Show Me the Funny and TedFest, Saed always but the the 'ha' into the Jihad.
